Sorry that I haven’t been able to update the blog this week. My new job takes a lot of time. I will bring the camera out for a trip this weekend. It is supposed to come snow… It will be to bundle up and get out there! But today is Friday… I am not missing Black & White Friday…

Isn’t it interesting… even thou the picture is in Black & White we know what colors the picture has… We know that the sky is blue, the clouds are white and the light is red… right?

Around the pond

Took a walk around the pond… first of all, a picture from December 13th… while it still was water in it.. not much…

It actually dried out totally. Unfortunately I was never down and took a picture of it but that little water was gone. I never thought we would get the pond back since it is hand made. But we got some rain last week and God gave us our pond back!!!

Yes… it is the same pond!!!

Always Dallas DW

Meet Dallas. She is one of my horses. I took a trip around our pond today and she was standing there eating her morning hay. She is a very intelligent horse. Hope that I will have time to break her this year. She is three years old now!

Her name is Dallas because she was born on the day my mom and I was traveling over to the USA to look at farms, our first trip to Dallas. Her name was supposed to start on A from her mother (Aisha) so why not Always Dallas. DW stands for Daimilus (my kennel and farmname) and Wichmann, my lastname.

City Monday – First National in Terrell

Last week I had a picture of the old First National Bank building in Kaufman, TX. Since we actually have one here in Terrell too, I figured I would follow up with a picture of that building!

I didn’t want the sign to be in the middle of the picture. That is boring and normal. No birds wanted to be in the picture but that doesn’t matter. I was not going to catch them anyway… Tomorrow is City Monday again, time goes really fast!!!
